Watheeqa Capital, a Capital Market Authority licensed securities business, was established in 2007 as a joint venture between Watheeqa and leading financial institutions.
The business conducts the following activities:
- Dealing as Principal/Agent and Underwriting;
- Management of Investment Funds and Client Portfolios;
- Arranging for local, regional and international markets by acting as an intermediary for inward and outward flow of funds to/from KSA;
- Custodial Services; and
- Advisory Services.
As of December 31, 2007 Watheeqa’s direct and indirect equity stake was in excess of 51% and The Company’s total assets were approximately USD 26.7 million.
