Our Challenges 

 

We have an ambitious programme of regional expansion which will attempt to utilize the high level of liquidity in the region as well as the new interest and awareness in local investors of attractive investment opportunities that cannot be provided by the more innovative and progressive investment companies and banks. The regional economic scenario is becoming more investor friendly, with increasing liberalisations by governments and encouragement to the private sector. There is a significant supply-demand gap in the provision of non-conventional investment products for which there is increasing interest by high-net-worth individuals, institutional and corporate investors. This will be the challenge for us at Watheeqa to attempt to successfully cater to that demand. We will face various threats in the form of competition, government policy changes, and other economic uncertainties, but will try to effectively cope by harnessing our competitive advantage and core competencies.
